I'm from Jæren, Norway, and have always enjoyed creating stories, ideas and projects that can grow into something bigger. Today I spend a lot of my creative time on books, music and developing my own universes.
As an author, I am behind the children's book universe Timbo® and the fantasy universe Falmador®. In addition, I write and release music under the artist name Andreas Espenes.
Although the projects are different, they have one thing in common: the desire to tell stories that can create emotions, engagement, and something that people want to return to.
From idea to story
What I like best about creative projects is the opportunity to start with almost nothing and gradually build it up into something that feels alive.
A small idea can become a character, a scene, a song, or an entire world. From there, much of the process is about exploring what the idea can become, and finding the details that give it its own identity.
That's why I enjoy writing stories, developing characters and universes, and using music to tell stories in a completely different way.

The story grows as characters, places, moods and details begin to find their place and connect.
