Beyond the familiar paths
A world with its own stories
There is more to Falmador than the people of Branrel know. Old roads lead through landscapes where other people live, and where the past still leaves its mark.
People and creatures
Not everyone you meet is like you. Falmador is home to people with their own customs, creatures from old tales, and lives that are rarely revealed to humans.
Magic and secrets
Magic can help, protect, and transform. But it has limits and demands something of its wielder. Knowledge of it is unevenly distributed – and some secrets are dangerous to seek.
The close in the big picture
Amidst the dangers, there is friendship, brotherhood, and a longing for a place to belong. For Milo, the journey is also about who he can trust, and who he wants to be.

Here are some of the characters and creatures from the universe. The descriptions are intentionally brief so that the story can continue to develop without giving too much away. There are many more in the final narrative.
Milo
Main characterA young man from Branrel with a restlessness he doesn't quite understand, and an ability to sense danger before it manifests itself.
Eric
Milo's older brotherConfident, energetic and strongly attached to his family and Branrel, he bears responsibility without making much of it, and does not hesitate when those he loves need him.
Tobb
Friend and companionLoyal, down-to-earth and always there when Milo needs him, he faces the unknown with courage, skepticism and his own view of the world.
Eldren
The enigmatic wandererA stranger with knowledge of powers, omens, and places most people only know through old stories.
Dravyn
Creature from FalmadorAn enigmatic feathered people with an unusual ability to imitate sounds and voices. Strangers to many, but not necessarily enemies.
Veyra
The shadow in the darknessDark figures that appear at night. Their red eyes and cold howls signal that something disturbing has begun to stir.
The World of Falmador
From peaceful villages and green valleys to dark forests, distant kingdoms and places few have ever seen, Falmador is a world far bigger than a single story.
A world with many roads
Falmador consists of different countries, areas, people and landscapes – each with its own history, traditions and secrets.
Between forests, mountains, rivers and old roads lie places that have been shaped by time, people and the other peoples who live there.
Some names are well known in Falmador. Others carry stories that have yet to be told.
