A vast world of ancient kingdoms, villages, forests and places where memories of the past still live beneath the surface.
For generations, life has gone on in Falmador. People have cultivated the land, traveled between villages and towns, told old stories by the fireside, and lived with the memories of a past that few people know the full truth about anymore.
But the world is bigger than the safe places most people call home. Beyond familiar roads lie deep forests, strange peoples, ancient ruins, and creatures that have long lived only in stories.
And now something is starting to change.

The Omen of Shadows
Falmador – The Omen of Shadows follows Milo, who lives a peaceful life in the village of Branrel with his friend Tobb and older brother Erik.
When the shadowy beings Veyra appear and more and more disturbing signs spread through Falmador, they are drawn into a journey far from home.
Together with the enigmatic Eldren, they must face dangerous creatures, unknown peoples, and a growing evil that could change the world forever.

Here are some of the characters and creatures from the universe. The descriptions are intentionally brief so that the story can continue to develop without giving too much away. There are many more in the final narrative.
Milo
Main characterA young man from Branrel with a restlessness he doesn't quite understand, and an ability to sense danger before it manifests itself.
Tobb
Friend and companionLoyal, down-to-earth and always there when Milo needs him, he faces the unknown with courage, skepticism and his own view of the world.
Eldren
The enigmatic wandererA stranger with knowledge of powers, omens, and places most people only know through old stories.
Dravyn
Creature from FalmadorAn enigmatic feathered people with an unusual ability to imitate sounds and voices. Strangers to many, but not necessarily enemies.
Veyra
The shadow in the darknessDark figures that appear at night. Their red eyes and cold howls signal that something disturbing has begun to stir.
The World of Falmador
From peaceful villages and green valleys to dark forests, distant kingdoms and places few have ever seen, Falmador is a world far bigger than a single story.
A world with many roads
Falmador consists of different countries, areas, people and landscapes – each with its own history, traditions and secrets.
Between forests, mountains, rivers and old roads lie places that have been shaped by time, people and the other peoples who live there.
Some names are well known in Falmador. Others carry stories that have yet to be told.
